How to assess if a player qualifies.

As a league we use ESPN as our main website to check player’s match statistics – https://www.espncricinfo.com/cricketers

Below is an example for a international player who have played, first class, List A and T20 matches. The key information to check is those highlighted in red which confirms the last match the player played under each type of cricket. If the player has FC matches and T20 matches list as explain in the above tables member club can use this information to decide if the player qualifies. The player below does not qualify as the last FC match was played in November 2022, this player would qualify in season 2028. To calculate 5 years clubs need to count completed years, the player below completed years would be as follow:

Year 1 – 2023
Year 2 – 2024
Year 3 – 2025
Year 4 – 2026
Year 5 – 2027
Qualifies in 2028.
