The rain returned today to disappoint and leave some clubs frustrated as they were not able to ball a single ball before conceding to the weather.
Some of the games were called off early in the day and others persevered by traveling to the ground. Depending on the condition of the wicket a number of games went ahead and completed.
In the Premier Section two out of the five matches started Northern Warriors won the toss and put Kashmir into bat, after a struggle start losing 3 early wickets the middle order fought back to take Kashmir to 160 before they were all bowled out in the final over of the innings. Northern Warriors started well with a opening partnership of 63 before but lost 4 quick wickets, they consolidated their innings to win by 4 wickets. Bhalot Strikers scored 237 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their reduced 33 overs and in return Kings XI Lahore only managed 135 for 9.
The Crescent Section remains tights as both Nathia United and Heaton Park won today to move to 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Heaton Park chased Tab CC score of 124 with the loss of 5 wickets, whilst Nathia United won by 3 wickets in a reduced 25 overs match against Bradford Moor. Rajput beat Indus Bradford as they set a target of 177 in their 25 overs, Indus Bradford fell just 16 runs short of the target.
Wakefield Stars CC scored the 2nd highest score in todays matches and set a target of 218 for the loss of 6 wickets in their reduced 40 overs. They bowled out their opposition, Mayfield CC for 83 in the 28th over. Mirpur Royals struggled in their match as they were bowled out for 75 runs against mid table Bradford United who chased the score and won by 6 wickets. Khan CC had a relevantly easy win as AQ Khan were bowled out for 101 and Khan CC chased the score with the loss of just four wickets.
Brighouse Qalandars extend their lead at the top of the Star Section table as they won by 7 wickets against Leeds Stars CC, Brighouse Qalandars chased Leeds Star score of 129.
