A week where most of the games were effected by Rain but some teams did manage to complete their fixtures, credit goes to groundsmen, umpires and teams. Some teams continued their fine form and some are still looking for their first win.
ln Premier Division all games were abandoned due to rain. Kashmir Dewsbury cc managed to play 37 overs and scored 160 runs for lost of 6 wickets in 37 overs vs Rajput CC and secured 10 points , Rajpoot gained 9 points. Diamonds cc were 23/0 in 8 overs vs AK Eagles when the game was called off. AK Eagles CC are now top of table after 7 Games with 121 points closely followed by Karmand CC on 113 points. Bhalot, White Rose and Kashmir Dewsbury are not too far from 1st and 2nd position teams. Diamond and Bradford Moor YCA cc are yet to win a game in Premier Division.
In Crescent Section the war continues for top spot as Leeds Stallions beat Yorkshire Lions to take No.1 spot beating them by 6 wickets. Yorkshire Lions scored 189/10 and Leeds Stallions finished the game at 190/4 in 30 overs. Subhan cc chased the target of 143 runs in by Central Leeds in 23.1 overs for loss of 4 wickets only. Kings XI Lahore secured yet another win and beat Cricademia Academy by 3 wickets in a very close game.Cricademia Academy CC scored 241/9 in 35 overs which Kings XI CC chased successfully in 34.2 overs with final score 242/. Game between Chach CC and Bradford United CC was abandoned due to rain, chach were 17/1 in 4 overs chasing a target of 85 Runs.
In STARS Section King XI continued their fine form and secured another win, they scored 344/2 in 40 overs vs Bradford United 2nd XI who could only manage 66 Runs. Kings XI seem to recover from early loses in this group. Game between AMY NORTH EAST CC and TABS CC was conceded by TABS CC and AMY gained 20 points. All other games were abandoned due to rain. Scouthill are now on top of table with 120 points after 7 games with Punjab CC still on 2nd with 111 points. Both Friends CC and Northcliffe A are 3rd and 4th on 89 and 80 points respectively. Both are playing against each other in two weeks time if Northcliffe A win the game they will go 3rd.
In Jinnah Section only 2 games were completed rest were abandoned. Heaton Park CC beat Great Horton Sport CC by 4 wickets on 2nd last ball of game. Great Horton Sport scored 221/8 in 33.0 overs , heaton park finished the game with final score 226/6 in 32.5 overs. Khan CC 147/10 in 26.5 overs beat TABS CC who could only manage to score 99/10 in 22.2 overs. Heaton Park are still top of table with 136 points with Khan CC on 2nd position with 101 Points. Great Horton Sports are 3rd now with 97 Points. Nathia United CC are 4th with 88 Points.
