Match Report – 2nd July 2023

The transfer window deadline closed on Friday, 30th June. Clubs and Players will not be able to request any transfers until after the league AGM. The new player registration deadline ends on 31st July 2023.

Today was the mid point for the four sections as we complete the first nine fixtures of the season. The tables are now shaping up with Bhalot running away at the top of the Premier Section. All the games in the Premier Section were one sided. No change at the top of the table in Crescent Section and it remains competitive with just 29 points difference between top spot and 6th place. The top of the table tie in the Jinnah Section between Bradford Riders and Wakefield was won by Bradford Riders who have extended their lead by 17 points with third place Mirpur Royals hoping to close the gap as they beat Chach by 6 runs. Indus Bradford extended their lead at the top of the Star Section as they won by 86 runs against Bradford United, 2nd place Northcliffe lost today in the group match as did Ghourghushti.
