No regrets on todays decision to cancel all fixtures as the rain fell all day today, It’s good to see member clubs used their common sense today not to travel as the rain was predicted to linger over our region for most of the day and condition would not have been playable as demonstrated by one of the members who kindly shared the impact of the weather.
Promotion and Relegation explained for season 2023
Lets hope we have better weather for the remaining of the seasons 7 games. Just to remind clubs the relegation and promotion is based on the following
Premier Section – The 2 clubs with the least total points will be relegated to the Crescent Section
Crescent Section – The 2 clubs at the top of the table with most total points will be promoted to the Premier Section, the 2 clubs with the least total points will be relegated. 1 clubs will be draw to Jinnah Section and the other to Star Section
Jinnah Section – The club at top of the table with most total points will be promoted to the Crescent Section, each team to play 14 games and then a further 4 games based on the table standings (top four play the bottom four clubs in the Jinnah Section, including 7th place club in the Star Section in the last 4 games)
Star Section – The club at top of the table with most total points will be promoted to the Crescent Section, each team to play 14 games and then a further 4 games based on the table standings (top four play the bottom four clubs in the Star Section, including 7th place club in the Jinnah Section in the last 4 games)
