Karmand lost their second match of the season, this time to Rising Star by 3 wickets to move into 4th place and may have also lost the chance of a shot at the Championship. Kashmir and Bhalot gained maximum points whilst Whiterose drop a point and drop to joint 2nd place with Bhalot, both teams are 7 points behind league leaders, Kashmir.
In the play Offs, Great Horton Sports, Scouthill and Punjab all won and got off to a good start to cement their position of a chance of promotion into the Premier Section. All three had relatively easy wins over the oppositions.
In Group A of the mini cup competition, both Subhan and Wakefield claimed maximum points, whlist in group B both Nathia and Indus Bradford also gained maximum points. In Group C Central Leeds and Kings XI also claimed maximum points but in Group D AMYA was the only one to gain maximum points. Which four teams will make it to the Semi Finals, next weeks results will be interesting and could shape the final qualifying games.
We have another busy schedule this week as the league makes arrangements for the Semi Finals and Final of the Syhiba The Hundred to be played at Park Avenue next Bank Holiday Monday, first game will start at 11.00am, between Kashmir and Rising Star and the 2nd Semi Final will commence at 2.00pm between Whiterose and Bhalot. The final will take place at 5.00pm. More information will be published later this week.
