Match Report – 20th August 2023
Bhalot Strikers CC chance of completing a triple was quashed by Great Horton Sports as they knocked them out in the delayed quarter final of the T100. Bhalot Strikers are statistical champions as they only need to secure 11 points out of 60 points from their last 3 games. Can Bhalot Strikers complete the season unbeaten as they play Bradford Moor, Whiterose and Heaton Park in their last three fixtures. Kashmir beat Bradford Moor to maintain their 4th place to qualify for season 2024 T100 cup competition, can they hold on or will Karmand put on a fight who also won today by 21 runs against Great Horton Sport.
Both Nafees and Kings XI Lahore lost with Rajput and Nathia United respectively and now opens up the competition for promotion to the Premier Section whilst a win for both Yorkshire Lions and Leeds Stallions increases their chance of avoiding relegation in the Crescent Section.
Bradford Riders continue to maintain their lead at the top of the Jinnah Section with the hope they secure 1st place. Can Wakefield Stars and Mirpur Royals who also won today keep the pressure on Bradford Riders for the top spot.
Indus Bradford had a close win against Friends, they won with a small margin of 10 runs to maintain first place at the top of Star Section. Both 2nd place Northcliffe and 3rd place CAX’s XI had comfortable wins and secured maximum points to keep the pressure on Indus Bradford for the promotion spot.
