Annual Awards Ceremony – Sunday, 5th November 2023 @ Aagrah Midpoint, Bradford.
All the arrangements for the annual awards ceremony are in place for both Quaid e Azam Premier and Dewsbury and District Cricket Leagues. Thank you to all champions and award winners who have responded swiftly to provide the league the necessary information. We are confident the event will be just as big as last year if not bigger with a number of special guests from YCCC and YCB.
The dress code for players and committee members for the event will be Salwar Kameez.
To ensure timing of the event is executed as planned it is important for all clubs to arrive on time. The doors will open at 6.00pm and every club will have their table reserved for them. Club’s will need to confirm the number of persons that will be attending the awards ceremony on the league’s Whatsapp Secretaries group by Sunday, 29th October 2023, all clubs have paid for 3 tickets. If you wish to request additional tickets, they are available at the same price. IF ANY CLUB DOES NOT CONFIRM THIER NUMBER OF ATTENDEES BY SUNDAY, 29TH OCTOBER A TABLE WILL NOT BE RESERVED FOR THEM.
New Applications – Season 2024
It’s been a busy few weeks with the number of new club application.
We have received two applications from 2nd XI of existing clubs and an enquiry from a new club from Leeds. If all three clubs meet the requirements of the application, they will be confirmed as members for season 2024 and will take a place in the Jinnah and Star Section of the Quaid e Azam Premier League to 8 clubs.
The committee will meet with all the new clubs after the leagues AGM.
Annual General Meeting – 7th November 2023 @ 6.00pm
The AGM will take place at Karmand Community Centre on the 7th November 2023 at 6.00pm. A form will be shared with member clubs on Sunday, 22nd October to nominate committee members and put forward any proposals
