League Awards Presentation @ 16th October 2022 and New Applications

Annual Awards Ceremony – Sunday, 16th October 2022 @ Aagrah Midpoint, Bradford.

All the arrangements for the annual awards ceremony are I place for both Quaid e Azam Premier and Dewsbury and District Cricket Leagues. Thank you to all three champions and award winners who have responded swiftly to provide league the necessary information. We are confident the event will be just as big as last year if not bigger.

The dress code for players and committee members for the event will be Salwar Kameez.

To ensure timing of the event is executed as planned it is important for all clubs to arrive on time. The doors will open at 6.00pm and every club will have their table reserved for them. Can the remaining club confirm the number of persons that will be attending the awards ceremony on the league’s Whatsapp Secretaries group by midday this Wednesday, all clubs have paid for 3 tickets. If you wish to request additional tickets, they are available at the same price. IF ANY CLUB DOES NOT CONFIRM THIER NUMBER OF ATTENDEES BY MIDDAY WEDNESDAY, 12TH OCTOBER A TABLE WILL NOT BE RESERVED FOR THEM.

New Applications – Season 2023

It’s been a busy few weeks with the number of new club application, In the Dewsbury and District League Friends CC have re-joined the league after a year out.

We have received applications from new club GhourGhoushti XI CC and a previous member, Krass Eagles CC who have also applied. A third club as also requested an application today. If all three clubs meet the requirements of the application, they will be confirmed as members for season 2023 and will take a place in the fourth Star Section of the Quaid e Azam Premier League to 8 clubs.

The committee will meet with all the new clubs who are applying to join the league during week commencing 24th October, further details will be sent to the new clubs during week commencing 17th October 2022.

Annual General Meeting – 1st November 2022 @ 6.30pm

The AGM will take place at Karmand Community Centre on the 1st November 2022 at 6.30pm. We have only received proposals from four member clubs, if you wish to suggest changes to league constitution for season 2023, please complete the proposal form – Click here to complete form
