Get set for the new season

The preparation for the new season is in place for both the Quaid e Azam Premier Cricket and Dewsbury and District Sunday Cricket League. Although outdoor organised cricket has been given the green light from yesterday (29th March) we are not able to meet indoor or outdoor within the current government guidelines. We have therefore arranged for member clubs to collect the cricket balls, handbooks, team sheets or create your own QR code for your home ground – Click here. The QR code will allow your players to scan the code instead of collecting their contact details on the team sheet when using the NHS Covid-19 app.

Members clubs will be able to collect the following during week commencing the 5th April 2021 and we will shared on the league WhatsApp group when all the deliveries have been received from our suppliers. To work within the current government guideline the league has organised for the three different venue in Bradford, Leeds and Dewsbury to allow member club to collect supplies locally, each club will receive:

  • Sovereign Reader cricket balls (12 cricket balls each club) further 8 crickets balls will be available in June. All cricket balls will have the league sponsor and name badged on them. Please note : Dewsbury and District league will use their current supplies from previous season and those provided by Raje Sport, Batley)
  • A supply of track and trace team sheets
  • 15 handbooks

Please note the league will NOT supply the sanitiser wipes for the cricket ball sanitiser breaks as these are now easily available from local supplier (Most supermarkets, B&M, Home Bargain etc) and cost around £1.50 – £2.00 per pack, please ensure to purchase two packs of disinfectant wipes (at least 80 wipes in pack) and they must conform to BS EN 14476 standards. Also encourage your players to supply their own sanitiser gel.
