Final League Match Report – 17th September 2023

Rising Star win to stay in the Premier Section for another season after struggling most of the season. Avoided relegation last year it wasn’t to be for Bradford Moor this season as they came last and Heaton Park who lost to Bhalot Strikers to slip into 9th place. Both teams are relegated to the Crescent Section for next season.

A tight finish in the Crescent Section as Kings XI Lahore secured maximum points to take first place above Nafees who dropped 1 points in todays fixture. Kings XI Lahore have missed out for many years and their perseverance have paid of today and gained promotion to the Premier Section along with Nafees. Both Yorkshire Lions and Leeds Stallions have been relegated from the Crescent Section as they finish respectively in 9th and 10th place.

Indus Bradford gained maximum points to secure their place in the Jinnah and Star Champions final to be played next Sunday, 24th September at Park Avenue against Bradford Riders. Both teams will go head to head next week to decide on the championship title.

Whiterose CC did us proud at today’s T100 finals played at Scarborough, they played in a nerve racking semi final against Sheffield, its a match not to be missed and made it to the final.
