PKWA CC – T20 Champions Season 2023

PKWA claimed their first championship after losing out on the cup competition against KK CC. In a low scoring game against Jhelum PKWA CC won by 5 wickets. 6 of the 10 wickets were taken by Man of the Match, Muhammed Rafiq (3 for 10) and Javed Iqbal ( 3 for 13) to restrict Jhelum to 62 runs in the 17th over. Khalid Aziz for Jhelum CC was the only player to reach double figures with 22 runs.

The start for Jhelum gave them hope of a win as the top three bowlers only conceded 36 runs in their 12 overs and took three wickets, Muhammed Rafiq’s 21 runs for PKWA cemented the win for his team with a unbeaten innings from Imtaiz Ali (17*).
