A very cold day for cricket but regardless of the condition Gemini Falcons set a record for this season with a target score of 398 for the loss of 9 wicket in their allocation of 45 overs. Just 2nd week into the season and the results in the Premier Section have been interesting. Only three clubs maintain a 100% record, Whiterose, AK Eagles and Northern Warriors all secured maximum points as all three had comfortable win over the respective opponents. The competition in the Crescent Section was just as fierce as the trend of the Premier Section is replicated with just three clubs with a 100% record, Newly promoted Hanover, last year 3rd place Batley and and Nathia United A all secured maximum points and maintained this position at the top of the table. Ayaan CC secured their first win with just two wickets against Diamond CC whilst Batley narrowly beat Subhan CC by just 17 runs. Mirpur Royals A CC had a comfortable 5 wicket win over Brighouse CC.
