Match Report – 27th April 2025

A good start to the season with a perfect day for cricket and 11 games out of 20 scored maximum batting points.

Newly promoted Bradford Riders get of to a great start with the highest total target of 300 in the Premier Section against White Wolves A and secured maximum points as did Whiterose who took just 11 overs to chase Bhalot Strikers target. AK Eagles also had a comfortable win over Rajpoot who won by 125 runs. Northern Warriors secured maximum points as they the chased Rising Star total of just 104 runs. Kashmir set the 2nd highest total as they beat Karmand by 61 runs a better start then previous season.

Some consistent results in the Crescent Section as all the teams who elected to bat first won their fixtures today, newly promoted Hanover and Brighouse both won comfortably over their respected opponents Diamonds and Ayaan. Batley, Bradford Moor and Nathia United A all secured maximum points.

In the Jinnah Section Leeds Stallion was the only club to chase the target set by Yorkshire Lions to claim maximum points along with last year 2nd place Wakefield Stars and new comers Secured Home. Unlike previous season Mayfield got of to a good start as they bagged with first win of the season against Mirpur Royals B. White Wolves B also won but dropped points against Nathia United B.

A mix trend on the Star Section as Hazro and Indus both chased their targets whilst AMYA North East, New comers Kashmirians and Northcliffe all defended their total to claim their first win of the season.
