First Match Preparation – Club Information

With a number of new clubs and a reminder for other the league as provided information for players, match, umpires and points that will be required for tomorrows games.

The players

– All players must arrive at ground by 11.45pm
– All players including 12 man must be ready (in whites) to take to the field at 12.15pm
– All players must wear all white including socks and footwear (only heel and footwear brand can be in other colour other than white)
– Players arriving after 12.30pm will not be able to bowl until they have been on the pitch for the same duration as they arrived late.
– Players arriving after 1.00pm will not be able to participate in the game as a player or substitute.

The Match

  • Start time for tomorrow (27th April) is 12.30pm
  • The toss must take place at 12.15pm
  • At least 7 players including the captain must be present and ready to take to the field before the toss can be completed.
  • Before the toss both captains must share their team card with the umpires, the team cards must include the 12 man if present at the match.
  • Both team must have scorers, one to complete LIVE scoring and the 2nd to complete on book.
  • Scorers must remain in the same area throughout the game so the umpires can communicate as appropriate with them.
  • Each team will bat and bowl up to 45 overs within their allocated time of 3 hours
  • Each bowler can ball up to a maximum of 9 overs in one spell (excluding junior cricketer) or multiply spells
  • If the bowling side fails to bowl their 45 overs within the allocated time of 3 hours, the umpires will inform the captain the over before the completion of the 3rd hour to inform him that he will have to forfeit the powerplay field as follows:
    • 1 over after allocated time : 1 of 5 fielder outside the inner circle to bring in to the 30 yard circle
    • 2 over after allocated time : 2 of 5 fielders outside the inner circle to bring in to the 30 yard circle
    • 3 over after allocated time : 3 of 5 fielders outside the inner circle to bring in to the 30 yard circle
    • 4 over after allocated time : 4 of 5 fielders outside the inner circle to bring in to the 30 yard circle
    • 5 over after allocated time : all fielders outside the inner circle to bring in to the 30 yard circle

Tea Break

  • Home team to provide free teas to all players and match officials
  • The tea break must no last more then 20 minutes
  • Umpire will confirm the start time the the 2nd innings

Umpires Fees

  • Umpires fee must be paid before the start of the match or at break at the latest
  • Single end Umpiring (two umpires) – £45.00
  • Double End umpiring (One umpire) – £60.00
  • Distance travelling expenses (in additional to the above) – £5.00

After the match

  • Report the results using the Results and registration WhatsApp group and details as below
  • Upload any players photograph and details (full name of player) and with batting performance of 50+ runs and 5+ wickets. eg Basharat Hussain, Heaton Park CC – 5 wickets for 30 runs
