Today we lost one of our own – Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un

Mohammed Saddique, also known as Bill passed away today after a short spell of being unwell. We write this message with a heavy heart to say farewell to one of our own. We pray that may Allah grants Bill the highest place of Jannah. Our deepest condolence to the family and Friends, in particular Qasim and Adam.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.), There can be no words that can console his family at this moment. May Allah help them to bear the pain and suffering. We request that you pray for Bill so that his soul may rest in peace. Ameen

Bill was a founder member of the league and has been associated with many clubs for our 30 years, first with Al Falah Cricket Club, Shimla Cricket Club, and more recently with Patriots Cricket Club and Great Horton Sports Cricket Club. Bill’s passion and contribution to cricket in Bradford has been second to none. He has organised many clubs and tournament for promoting the game regionally, nationally and for good causes. He will be missed.
