Syhiba T100 Competition – Quarter Finals

The Quarter finals have been arranged during this and next week, the first of the fixtures to complete took place yesterday at the Bowling Baptist CC (previously Manningham Mill CC). The groundsman worked hard to prepare the ground after three consecutive days of rain, Heaton Park batted first and after the loss of early wickets of both openers, Shoukat Ali (9) and Haaris Hussain (4) the third wicket partnership accelerated the run rate lead by Sohail Butt (41). Heaton Park set a target of 113 with the loss of 8 wickets. Kings XI Lahore didn’t get a start they wanted and lost 5 early wickets and struggled to maintain the required run rate. They were eventually bowled out for 74 runs with with disciplined bowling from Shoukat Ali.

Scouthill host Nathia United at Heckmondwike today, Thursday 20th July with the other two fixtures planned for next Monday.
