A sunny day for cricket enjoyed by many today with some close games. The next round of the cup and shield draws took place earlier this week which are as follows:

Player qualification – Each player playing in the quarter finals cup/shield/round should have played in one completed league game for the same club he is representing for the club to qualify, a player can only represent one club in each season and will be deemed cup tied if he then transfers to another club. For both the semi-finals and final, players must have played in 2 completed league fixtures for the same club he is representing in the cup game to qualify.

Match Report
In the Premier Section, Kashmir managed to scrape a 1 wicket win over Bradford Moor. Bradford Moor batted first and set a target score of 233 before being all bowled out. Kashmir chased the score with just 1 wicket remaining. Top of the table tie between AK Eagles and Bhalot Strikers finished earlier then usual as Bhalot Strikers chased the score of 160 in just 20 overs and now extend their lead by 13 points and maintain an unbeaten record. Darulshafa and Karmand both claimed maximum points as they both beat their opponents, Heaton Park CC and Great Horton Sports. The final game into he section was between Whiterose and Rising Star was a one sided game as Whiterose chased the target of 136 in just 18 overs. Whiterose had a comfortable win over Rising Star to take them into 2nd place.
The Crescent Section remains very competitive at the top as all three teams won today, Kings XI Lahore, Rajput, and Subhan have 4 points difference between them. Kings XI Lahore won by 25 runs against Nathia United, whilst Rajput beat Nafees by 34 runs. Subhan had an easy games against Leeds Stallions who lost by 54 runs. Tabs secured their second win of the season as they won by 104 runs against Yorkshire Lions.
In the Jinnah Section, Bradford Riders and Wakefield Stars have pulled in front at the top of the table as both teams secured maximum points today as did Khan and Central Leeds. Bradford Riders won by 127 runs against AQ Khan and Wakefield Stars played their group match and beat Indus Bradford by 91 runs. Khan and Mirpur Royals was the tight finish as Khan won by just 1 wicket. Central Leeds played at Sherburn against Chach and won the match by 82.
Northcliffe close the gap at the top of the Star Section as Indus Bradford lose their group match, third place Ghourghusti also claimed maximum points and maintained their place. Friends beat CAX’s Xi by 26 runs.
