Karmand did it again as they beat Bhalot Strikers by 45 runs and could quite possible make it difficult for Bhalot Strikers to defend their title as both AK Eagles and Whiterose secured maximum points. AK Eagles had a narrow win over Kashmir who fell 7 runs short of AK Eagles target of 248 runs, whilst Whiterose won by 7 wickets against middle table Rising Stars. The bottom of the Premier Section table is very tight , with just 13 points between Great Horton Sports CC in 10th position and Nafees CC in 8th position. Kings XI Lahore win by 5 wickets over Great Horton Sports give them hope to avoid relegation back to the Crescent Section.
The Crescent Section is very interesting for 2nd place with just 7 points between 2nd place, Rajput and 5th place Bradford Moor, whilst the 6th place Diamond CC and 9th place Heaton Park could be relegated to the lower sections. Batley CC also won their 3rd consecutive league games as the beat TABS CC by 24 runs. A low scoring game between Diamond CC and Crescent section leaders Bradford Riders was won by Diamond CC who defended a low target of just 74 runs and won by 20 runs. Rajput continue their run of consecutive wins as they beat Bradford Moor by 173 runs, Rajput batted first and set a target of 287 in their 45 overs. They bowled Bradford Moor for 114 runs.
The top of the Jinnah table match between Hanover and Wakefield was a a critical match for both teams. Hanover were too strong for Wakefield Stars CC as they were bowled out for 89 runs, Hanover chased the target in the 16th overs and now extend their lead by 36 points and are likely to be promoted to the Crescent Section. At the foot of the Jinnah table Mayfield secured their 2nd win of the season as they beat Leeds Stallion but just 2 wickets. Mirpur Royals beat Khan CC by 16 runs to move into 4th place. Middle table fixture between AQ Khan and Nathia United was won by AQ Khan by 21 runs.
The highest innings score in todays matches was between Star Section Leaders Brighouse Qalandars and AMYA North East, Brighouse Qalandars batted first and set a target of 311, AMYA lost early wickets and at one stage were 137 for 7, the last 3 wickets took the score to 266 but not enough to secure them a win. Brighouse Qalandars are also likely to secure promotion into Crescent Section. Leeds Stars won comfortably against Bradford United by 8 wickets in a low scoring game and Ghourghushti also won comfortably, as they beat Yorkshire Lions by 88 runs.
