Another frustrating day for most clubs as the rain from the south affected nearly all the games. The games played north of Bradford in low lying areas seen to have had less of the the rain which didn’t arrive until later in the afternoon. All four games were one sided, Kings XI Lahore beat Bradford United by 7 wickets which was the only game in the in the Crescent Section to be played.
In the Jinnah Section, Great Horton Sport beat Mylahore Tabs B by 9 wickets and was the only game to complete in their respective section, whilst in the Star Section two out of the four games got completed. Kings XI won by 88 runs against Mylahore Tabs A at Bingley Congs CC. The 2nd fixture to complete in the Star Section was a one sided affair as Scouthill beat AMYA by 10 wickets at Esholt CC.
Both Heaton Park and Scouthill have secured a place in the play offs, whilst Punjab in 2nd place of the Star section just need to secure 17 points to take the 2nd place of the play offs in their section. The Crescent Section remains a three horse race and frustrated Subhan who were in a commanding position at their games against Yorkshire Lions today will now have to secure wins in both their games to have some hope to secure one of two places for the play offs. All three teams, Leeds Stallions, Yorkshire Lions and Subhan play mid table, Cricademia or Kings XI Lahore which ever teams loses to one of these teams is likely to not qualify for the play offs, best advise to give them is to try and secure maximum possible points if they lose. Great Horton Sports need to secure 18 points from their last two fixtures to claim a place in the play offs but play Khan and Heaton Park in their remaining two fixtures. Khan and Nathia United both have an outside chance to claim 2nd place, if they win noth thier last two fixtures.
No change in the Premier Section as all five fixtures were rained off.
