Central Leeds celebrated their 2nd title of the season as they secured a 3 wicket win over Nathia United.
Nathia United won the toss and elected to bat first and got off to a flying start as they scored 70 of the first 10 overs before losing their first wicket. Central Leeds fought back and reduced the run rate as they continued to gain wickets throughout the next 25 overs. Nathia was eventually bowled out in the 38th over for 195. Nathia started well as they put Central Leeds on the back foot as they lost 2 wickets in the first three overs. Central Leeds consolidated and the third wicket partnership between Madan Basavarajaiah (121*) and Raja Ahmed (25) put on 117 to take the game away from Nathia. Panic settle in the Central Leeds dressing room as they lost three wickets without scoring a run on 172 led by Banaras Hussain (5 for 39). The innings of Madan Basavarajaiah was instrumental in securing his side a 2nd silverware of the season.
