Batley played one of the most composed innings we have seen in recent times, spanning the final part of yesterday afternoon and the remaining overs this morning. They were deserving champions, never appearing like underdogs—even against a team that matched them in quality and depth.
The outstanding batting and bowling performance of Parteek Khasa, who was named Man of the Match, played a crucial role in securing Batley’s first cup-final victory. Congratulation to both finalist, Batley CC and Whiterose for making the final and for proving great entertainment to the spectators.
