As we approach the final weekend of league fixtures, we can confirm that the Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Following today’s fixtures, the Premier Section title race will go down to the final match, as will the battle to avoid relegation. Rising Star and Diamond’s tied match moved both teams out of the relegation zone, while Hanover’s victory over Kashmir has kept their hopes alive. Hanover will host Batley next week.
The other teams still involved in the relegation battle are Northern Warriors, White Wolves and Kashmir.
Congratulations to Bradford Riders crowned Crescent Section Champions and Mirpur Royals 1st XI for promotion to the Premier Section. Bradford Riders tied with Heaton Park who escaped relegation. One of three, Hazro, Diamond 2 XI and White Wolves will avoid relegation and all will be decided next week. Hazro have an appeal which will be held this Thursday.
Congratulation to Secured Home crowned champion of Jinnah Section and Leeds Star for their promotion to the Crescent Section. Wakefield Star just need 8 points to avoid relegation. AQ Khan 1st XI will play in the Star Section.
