The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation in-conjunction with The Hundred and ECB have organised a fantastic opportunity for our local cricket community at Bradford Park Avenue on Thursday 23rd July between 2pm and 4pm for an afternoon of cricket, entertainment and community engagement.
As you may already be aware, Pakistan international leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has signed for Sunrisers Leeds for The Hundred 2026 season and will be arriving in Leeds in the coming weeks.
The event will be split into two parts:
Bat Against Abrar Challenge
The league will draw two that have been nominate to take part in a unique challenge against Abrar Ahmed. Each player will face six balls from the Pakistan star, with the aim of scoring the highest number of runs.
The Bat Against Abrar Challenge is an invite-only session at the request of The Hundred and the ECB. The league will therefore draw additional 20 attendees to support the two challenge winners who will represent the league.

Meet & Greet
The day will conclude with a meet and greet session, open to everyone, giving fans the chance to meet Abrar, take photos and get autographs.
This is a brilliant opportunity that doesn’t come around very often, and YCF would love to see the cricket community come together to make it a memorable occasion. They are hoping to have a fantastic atmosphere at Bradford Park Avenue, with food, refreshments, entertainment and activities available throughout the afternoon.
There is also the potential for regional and national media coverage, so it would be fantastic to showcase the passion and strength of cricket within our local communities.
Opportunities like this don’t come around very often, so let’s give Abrar a proper Bradford welcome.
