The Quaid e Azam Premier Cricket League has a new champion, AK Eagles secured 19 points in todays game to extend their lead by 20 points going into the final fixture next week, as AK Eagles have a superior net run rate and they will be presented the Premier Section Championship trophy at the beginning of next weeks fixtures against Nafees who could avoid relegation if they secure maximum points and Kings XI Lahore don’t collect 5 points in their final game against Whiterose.

The Crescent Section has never been tighter, the 2nd place could go to the final week as 3rd place, Batley CC take on 2nd place Rajput, the winner of the game will gain promotion to the Premier Section. The relegation zone involves 5 clubs from 5th to 9th place with a difference of just 9 points. The clubs take on each other next week and the one that loses and drops points will likely to be one that is relegated along with Indus Bradford.
The Jinnah Section only had one game that wasn’t affected by rain, played in Wakefield. Wakefield Star elected to bat first and set a target of 184 before they were bowled out in the 30th over. Mirpur Royals were bowled out in the 27th over for 150.
All the games were called off due to the rain in the Star Section so no change to the table.
All the games were also rained of in the Dewsbury and District League with and unbeaten record 10 games by KK CC for the whole season. KK with a lead of 63 points has out played all the clubs this season.
