Congratulation to Whiterose who is the 2nd club to do the triple (Cup champions, T100 Champions and the League Champions). This is Whiterose’s first Premier Section Champion title and the third club to be crown league champions in the last six years. They extended their lead by 24 points with another fixture to complete next week. They are the first club to break through the 300 points this season.

As expected another disappointing and frustrating day particularly for those in both the Jinnah and Star Section. Hazro and Northcliffe was a crucial fixture but the rain prevented that as both took home 6 points each plus bonus points which Northcliffe benefitted, as they score 190 (5 batting points) for the loss of just 3 wickets. Going into the last fixture next Sunday, both teams are level on points but Northcliffe has a better net batting average, if both teams gain maximum points Northcliffe will gain promotion. If any clubs drop points it will cost them the title and promotion opportunity.
White Wolves B CC didn’t get the opportunity of start today but maintain a slim advantage point ahead of next weeks final fixture, they take on Mirpur Royals away, whilst 2nd place Secure Home play AQ Khan at Garforth CC. Good luck to both teams and home the weather is better than what we experience today.
