LSD Quarter Final – Match Report

The final eight played today to secure a place in the Semi Final’s of the Leeds Sign Design Cup and Shield competition. The weather in comparison to last week has played a key part in today scores.

We will have new finalist in both the Shield and Cup as todays results had some very surprising results.

Last year winners Kashmir lost to Bhalot by 4 wickets, Kashmir batted first and were restricted to 162 and Bhalot chased the score losing just 6 wickets. Bhalot now play Karmand in the Semi Finals, who beat undefended AK Eagles in a very tense game that went to the second last over with nearly 450 runs scored at Karmand they won by 7 runs.

Whiterose, the runners up last year were also knocked as Darulshafa chased their target of 256 with the loss of 8 wickets. Darulshafa will now play Rajput in the Semi Finals as they had a comfortable win against Khan who were all bowled out for just 121, Rajput chased the score in just 21 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.

Wakefield Stars set a new league record as they racked up 407 in 45 overs with the loss 8 wickets to take them to the semi final against Mylahore Tab B. Kings XI had a easy win over Indus Bradford at Park Avenue as they chased Indus’s score of 72 with the loss of just 1 wickets. Central Leeds also had a comfortable win as they chased Yorkshire Lions total of 107 with the loss of just 2 wickets. Mylahore Tab B beat Leeds Stallions by 5 wickets in a reduced over game as Mylahore Tabs B chased Leeds Stallions of 149 in the 28th over.
