After a difficult start for a handful of clubs with ground issues due to fitness or availability of the ground all the clubs have secured alternative venues with assistance from members clubs which is positive start in the gamesmanship and I am confident clubs will continue to work together to help each other.
Something different and positive this season is the social media coverage whether that be promoting their games through poster, videos or live streaming of the game. This does great for the game and encourages young cricketeers to show an interest in both the league and the game.
This season we will host two inter – league charity matches. Both Quaid e Azam PCL and Bradford League have raised over £2000 over the past 3 years and we hope to work with another local charity hosting the 4th game between the two leagues.
New for this season, both the Quaid e Azam leagues have agreed a charity game with a selection of non overseas players. Further details will be shared in due course.
