Spectacular finish for top two in Star and Jinnah

It could not have got any closer in both the Jinnah and Star Section as White Wolves secure the Jinnah Section Championship title for season 2025 by just 1 point above new comers Secured Homes CC, whilst in the Star Section it was so agonising for Northcliffe who came in 2nd place by a 10th of a run, the net run rate split the two teams apart at the top. Both Hazro and Northcliffe were level on points at the beginning of today but Northcliffe had a superior run ran 1.37 to Hazro 1.30, but todays match split them in the opposite way, as Hazro’s 85 for 3 in just 6.5 runs made the difference for them to secure the Jinnah Section Championship title, had Northcliffe lost 1 less wicket they would have secured the title. Both Friends and Northcliffe were great sportsmen in their fixture today at Sandy Lane, better luck to Northcliffe for next season.

Northern Warriors secured 3rd place above Bhalot Strikers to qualify for the first time for the T100 competition for season 2026, whilst in Crescent Section, winners Batley qualify for the 2nd year running and promoted side Hanover, along with Diamond and Bradford Moor will take on the Premier’s mighty clubs in season 2026 T100. Next season T100 quarter and semi finals will be interesting as all the Crescent Section teams have some young talent to take on the Premier Section experience and mature talent.
