Match Report – 7th September 2025
It looks we will have a new league champion as Whiterose extended their league to 15 points as AK Eagles were left frustrated as their game was abandoned due to bad light. Whiterose just need 26 points from the last two games. The competition is on for the the 3rd and 4th will go to the end of the season as clubs between 3rd to 6th place have just 7 points between them. Kashmir 2nd consecutive win gets them out the the relegation zone as White Wolves and Rajput drop down to 8th and 9th place. Rajput play Bradford Riders next week and need the game to try and avoid relegation.
First confirmed result of the season as Batley secure promotion to the Premier Section, they do deserve the the promotion as they first third for many years. Batley just need 6 points to secure the Cresecent Section Championship title. Hanover need 12 points from both final games to secure promotion to the Premier Section. The fight for 3rd and 4th place is also tight, will Bradford Moor and Diamond maintain their place or will Mirpur Royals clinch one of the places. The bottom of the tables hasn’t changed as all three lost their matches today.
No change at the top of the Jinnah Section as both White Wolves B CC and Secured Homes claimed maximum points and the top five in the section will now remain in the section whilst the remaining five will play in the Stars (forth) Section.
Hazro were left frustrated as their game was affected with the down pour. The game was abandoned in the 18th over. Northcliffe gained the advantage and close the gap by 4 points. The promotion place will go to their tie next week, the winner will most likely secure the promotion place. The top will gain promotion to the Jinnah Section, whilst the bottom five will remain in the Star Section.
