Week 21Premier Section

On a windy & overnight Rain’s wet conditions Bhalot Strikers won their inaugural QEASCL Premier Section Title and are deservedly 2017 Champions as they beat White Rose Comfortably by 6 wickets. Strikers chased down White Rose’s low total of 120. In reply, Bhalot Strikers had raced down their target with only 4 wickets down. Heaton Park are relegated to Section A after their loss to Raja CC by 4 wickets. Raja CC who are also on the verge of the drop gave themselves a glimmer of hope as they chased Heaton Park’s total of 149. Musa Ahmed picked up 5- 28. Also in the runs for Raja CC was Khurram Hussain who scored a crucial 45. Raja CC will now face Kashmir Dewsbury in their final game; a victory against Kashmir Dewsbury as well as their rivals Flix CC losing will secure them a place in the Premier Section next season.

The following fixtures were all abandoned due to rain;

Keighley RZM v Kashmir Dewsbury (71-6, N Jamal 5-5), OnQ v Flix & Darulshafa v My Lahore

Section A

The only completed fixture in Section A , was the game between League leaders Punjab CC & Indus Ghari
Indus Ghari were all out for 106, thanks to Sharaz Ali who picked up 4-18. In reply Punjab chased down their target with the loss of one wicket, Mobeen Mirza scoring 43.

The following fixture has been referred to the Executive:
Earlmarshall (104 -5) v Diamond (131 ao)

The following fixtures were all abandoned due to rain;
Bradford Moor v Shaheen
Tabs v Rising Stars
Karmand v Azad

Section B

Top of table in Section B, EAM had a comfortable win against Central Leeds. Central Leeds were all out for 78 in reply Amjid Hussain’s unbeaten 62 gave EAM a 7 wicket victory over Central Leeds. EAM will be away to Kashmir Bradford in their final fixture. Also Style CC beat Kings XI by 7 wickets as they bowled Kings XI all out for 85. In reply Style CC chased Kings XI target with the loss of 3 wickets. Style CC will face Bradford Royals at home in their final fixture.

Patriots (100 ao) v Chach (40-1)
Kashmir Bradford v Bradford Royals
