League Introduces Cricket Competition During Corona Virus (Covid-19) Lockdown

For many the past 3 weeks has changed the way we live and presented new challenges to keep safe whilst looking after loved one and ourselves. As it’s very likely that cricket will be delayed we have decided to introduce a cricket competition to keep us active during the lockdown period. The competition will run for 21 days and a new question will be posted everyday. The member club, registered players or league umpiring officials answering the most questions correctly will win 2 free ticket for the presentation ceremony which will take place on the 1st November 2020 at Aagrah Midpoint @ 7.00pm. If more than one representative wins, the winner will be drawn out.

Some of the questions will relate to the league’s constitution so member clubs, registered players and league umpiring officials can improve their knowledge of governance inline with the league mission statement and aims. Some of the questions will relate to international cricket. Each question will be a multiple choice of four with one being the correct answer. All answers need to be emailed to competition@quaideazam.org.uk

The first question will be posted tomorrow at 12.00 midday and the final question will be posted on the 2nd May 2020 with the winner announced on Sunday, 3rd May 2020. The competition is only open to Member clubs, registered players and umpires listed in the leagues season 2020 handbook.
