CONGRATULATION TO BARKET CRICKET CLUB - SECTION C CHAMPIONS.
CONGRATULATION TO DARULSHAFA CRICKET CLUB - PROMOTION INTO SECTION B.

With very difficult wicket conditions during today matches due to the wet weather most the games were low scoring games with a few exceptions.  With just three more weeks to go the competition is getting exciting Both Darulshafa and Barket by convincingly today to maintain their positions at the top of the table in section C.  Darulshafa bowled Leeds star out for just 55 runs and chased it with the loss of 4 wicket.  Barket lost the toss and Karmand elected to bat first and were bowled out for just 68 runs, Barket chased the score and lost only one wicket. In Section A and B the championship is still to play for and the relegation in Section A is still between 4 teams as Shimla won today to get them out of the relegation zone.

Shimla won the toss and put Earlmarshall into bat and started off well with four good overs and 1 wicket of Akhtar Khan, the second wicket between Liaqat Ali (35) and Haroon Rashid (84) consolidated the innings before Liaqat was caught out in the deep by G Razzaq.  Earlmarshall reached 154 at the end of their 40 overs.  Shimla started of very defensively with a score of 48 in the first 20 overs and they also lost key 3 key wickets.  The next 10 overs were critical for Shimla to consolidate and to up the rate, but the tremendous bowling of Nahim Khan and Mohammed Ilyas who bagged four wickets each ripped through the middle order and the tail and Shimla were all bowled out for 87 with 8.2 overs to spare.
